The Maeda CC423S-1 is a compact telescopic crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 2.93 tonnes, designed for pick-and-carry work and lifting in confined or restricted access sites. Its telescopic boom, minimal tail swing and crawler undercarriage allow the crane to work safely in city centres, industrial plants and tight construction sites where larger cranes cannot operate. Powered by a fuel-efficient Yanmar diesel engine, the CC423S-1 offers a pick and carry capacity of up to 1,465 kg, smooth travel up to 4.6 km/h and excellent stability thanks to its low centre of gravity. Standard features such as a programmable moment limiter, 4-fall / 2-fall hook block, blade and tilt alarm enhance safety and ease of operation, while the compact dimensions make transport and mobilisation straightforward.
The CC423 is the newest addition to the Crawler Crane range with a 2.93t capacity. The CC423 has primarily been developed for use in areas such as city centres where space is restricted, due to the highly compact tracked footprint with no need for outriggers and near zero-tailswing. The major feature of this crane is the 1465kg Pick & Carry capacity. Other features include a new engine equivalent to EPA Tier 4 standard, an open but covered superstructure mounted operator’s cab and a gross weight of 4400kg.
