KATO HD512-6 – 12t Short-Tail Crawler Excavator

The KATO HD512-6 is a 12–13 ton class short-tail crawler excavator designed for general earthmoving, roadworks, drainage, utilities and civil construction where a compact rear swing and strong digging performance are required. Built with a short radius upper structure, the HD512-6 can work safely in tighter spaces and alongside traffic while still offering the reach and breakout force of a full-size machine.

Powered by a fuel-efficient 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine and an advanced hydraulic system, it delivers smooth, precise control for trenching, bulk excavation and loading work. The roomy, air-conditioned cab with ergonomic joysticks, suspension seat and clear monitoring display helps operators stay comfortable and productive on long shifts, while easy-access service points and durable undercarriage components reduce downtime and operating costs.
